Biosecure Air Inc works with clients to develop air filtration preliminary budgets for estimating overall project costs. Using air inlet quantities, fan size, and animal units a close estimate can be determined. As projects move closer to implementation our project management team will visit your facilities, inspect buildings and equipment, and provide actual costs. Please email us at kent@biosecureairinc.com for your personalized budget.
When the project moves ahead, gable access doors are installed to gain access to the facility attics and walkways are placed throughout the attics to facilitate filtration installation and maintenance. Our staff custom manufactures and installs filtration plenums to fit onto your existing attic inlets.
Quality sealants are used extensively to ensure an airtight system. In the case of tunnel ventilated structures, building additions and filter banks are constructed and installed. After all plenums and banks are in place, CLARCOR - AirGuard MERV 16 filters and DP 40 pre-filters are installed to reduce the risk of airborne spread of PRRS and other airborne diseases.
In many facilities doors, pit covers, and other access points will need to be replaced and/or sealed. Our carpenters are experienced at retrofitting existing facilities to eliminate air leaks. Air locks for people, supplies, and pig movement in and out of the facility are required. Our staff will work with you to develop and implement a building access plan to minimize the risks of disease infiltration.
